FriedWald is a company which has specialised in organizing forest funerals where the cremated remains of the deceased can be interred near a tree in a memorial forest.

You can usually chose between several types of trees; some are intended as so-called friendship trees where up to ten urns may be interred around its roots. You can also choose your own private tree for yourself alone. 

FriedWald memorial forests are large and naturally grown forests. A specifically schooled forest warden can aide you in your choice of a tree. Please note that there is currently no FriedWald memorial forest available in the Free State of Saxony. The next FriedWald memorial forests can be found in the neighboring Free States of Thuringia and Brandenburg.
